This year’s study explores the impact that soil type and clone type have on the profile and personality of the subsequent wine.  For this study we have chosen three clones; 115, 777 and Pommard and two prominent soil types here in Willamette Valley, Volcanic and Marine Sedimentary. For each soil type we performed a separate vinification of each clone. .
