2022 Epicurean Heavy

Epicurean wines are designed to allow the consumer to explore their emotional connections to the relationship between food and wine. Although originating from the same grapes and fermentation, each wine undergoes our unique winemaking technique, designed to extract varying chemical compositions, weights, and flavor profiles.  By juxtaposing a single dish with these three wines, or alternatively pairing diverse food with one particular wine, the consumer is offered a multitude of pairing possibilities.  These choices enable a deeper exploration of the emotional resonance between food and wine, fostering a more profound appreciation for their harmonious relationship.

Critic Review - Vinous (93+ Points)

Rich and Darkly floral, bursting from the glass with a spice box bouquest of incense, cedar and dried black cherries.  It's elegant, nearly velvety in feel, with depths of dark red berry fruit that saturate all balanced by brisk acidity.  A web of grippy tannins lingers along with a citrusy concentration and tactile mineral tones as this tapers off long and structured
